This is a follow up to my album "Chasing After the Stars", I kept many of the same concepts from that disc. I wrote all the songs, played all the instruments, produced, engineered and recorded the whole project in my house. This record has a certain raw element to it, with some tunes being stripped down to just vocal and guitar. It also includes some tunes that not only deal with life in small town, rural America (my favorite subject matter) but tell stories in order to get across some political issues as well (such as the plight of the independent local farmer, and the blue collar workers that reside in small town U.S.A.). It would fall under the heading of americana, which could mean it is a mix of American styles of music that include anything and everything from folk, rock, blues, psychedelia, bluegrass etc. Copyright © 2003
